As the holder of a Private Pilots Licence (Helicopter) you may wish at some time to add another type of helicopter on to your licence.

We are fully Approved by the Civil Aviation Authority as a Type Rating Training Organisation to conduct the necessary training courses.

Our Approval certificate number is UK/TRTO 82.

Type rating conversion courses normally consist of a minimum of five hours dual flying plus a flight test together with the necessary ground school lectures.

The course is designed to familiarise pilots with the technology, mechanics, operation, performance, safety and emergency procedures of the type of helicopter to be added to the licence.

It is possible to carry out this training on the customer's own helicopter.
